Installation
============

**Installing RSyslog Windows Agent is simple and easy. A standard setup program 
installs the application.**

A number of different `Download Versions <https://www.rsyslog.com/windows-agent/windows-agent-download/>`_ of the product is available. The main 
difference is whether or not a current version of the Microsoft Windows 
Installer program is included. 

Furthermore the installer adds a Windows Firewall exception for the service 
process automatically during the installation routine.
