The development branch also sees a new release today: 3.11.1 has just been released.
The main new feature is a SNMP trap sender which enables syslog messages to be sent via SNMP traps. Otherwise, 3.11.1 is a stability update with a number of important bug fixes and documentation enhancements. For plugin-writers, there now is a copy-template for input plugins available. Version 3.11.1 is a recommended update for all v3 users.
