Hi all,

we have just released rsyslog 3.19.7. This release provides new functionality. The reliability of plain TCP syslog has been improved. Also, rsyslog is now tickless in the most common configuration, helping to save the environment. A new property replacer option has been added and some general cleanup done. This is a recommended update for all devel branch users.

If you use plain tcp syslog, I suggest having a look at this post on the reliability improvements:

In short, be aware that it still isn't perfect and it never will be, because full reliability is impossible with the plain tcp syslog protocol.
